Description

KARAM’s energy-absorbing twisted rope lanyards are widely utilized in fall protection systems to reduce the impact forces experienced during falls from heights. Equipped with energy absorbers, these lanyards gradually decelerate falls, thereby minimizing the risk of injury compared to abrupt stops.

They are instrumental in ensuring worker safety across various industries where fall hazards are present, including construction, maintenance, and industrial environments.

A notable variant is the PN309(A) with Energy Absorber PN300. Additionally, it comes with a 1-year warranty from the date of invoice, covering any manufacturing defects.

Benefits

  • Constructed from 12mm diameter Polyamide twisted rope.
  • The spliced end is safeguarded by a durable transparent covering sleeve, providing protection and allowing for easy inspection of the splice before use.
  • Loops at the end are shielded by an abrasion-resistant thimble, preventing damage from connector contact.
  • Includes a coloured tracer strand that fades over time, indicating the lanyard is no longer suitable for further use.
  • Available in lengths of 1.0m, 1.5m, 1.8m, and 2.0m.
  • Can be equipped with any other hook upon special request.
  • All KARAM lanyards with different connector combinations are individually certified according to EN 355:2002 and IS 3521(part 2):2021 standards.
